The results....

During our trip to Hawaii I kept getting calls from the Dr office wondering if I had taken my test yet and what the result was. I got really scared because I just didn't want to know, I couldn't get another negative so I just kept putting it off. After we got back from Hawaii the Dr office would not leave me alone so as I was sitting in my room deciding if I should wait for Nick to get home to take the test or just get it over with. If is was negative I could just cry by myself and get it over with so I did it!! I took one and positive was showing and then one after another positive kept coming up. After three more tests I decided it must be true so then I had to wait 2 hours for Nick to get home to tell him. Longest 2 hours of my life.
When Nick finally got home and was told the look on his face was perfect. We couldn't wait to tell everyone so we called everyone and told them. I finally called the Dr back and made the appointment for an ultrasound. I don't know if anyone will read this but doing the fertility treatment was the best thing we did. I am so thankful for Nick. I know that without him I wouldn't have made it. Well we went to the Dr and she did the ultrasound and turned out we were having not just 1 baby but 2!!! Nick and I were very scared but super excited.

Hawaii here we come.

Hawaii was amazing. I was so excited to see it and explore. We stayed in Kauai and it was SO beautiful. We were able to ride bikes everywhere, go snorkeling, hike in places were not a lot of people explore. My very cool in-laws were there before we got there and were able to drive around explore and see all the fun things to do so by the time we got there we had so much to do and see!! I can't wait to go back one day or maybe if I win the lottery I will live there! Here are some pictures of our trip...

2011... The beginning..

2011 has been one of the best years of my life. Nick and I wanted to start a family really bad. We had been trying for a while to get pregnant and nothing was happening. Going through that was the hardest thing for me. I would get so excited cause I "thought" I was pregnant and then would go get a pregnancy test and it would be negative. At one point I got very depressed because everyone around me was getting pregnant very easy and I thought it would never happen for me. We even starting looking at adoption. Then one day someone told me about a fertility clinic that helps women get pregnant. Well Nick and I thought a lot about it and decided to go just to see what it was like. The Dr gave us hope that we might have a baby so we started the process. I had to give myself shots after shots for 1 month and the whole time I was doing it I really thought that it was not going to happen....
I was suppose to go to the Dr to see if I was pregnant but Nick's family and I were headed to Hawaii for a family vacation and I didn't want to ruin my time with a false pregnancy test so I decided to wait until after the trip to take the test.

To sum up the year of 2010

After our trip to San Fransisco nothing much happen!! lol. Football season was kinda bad for the Vols and that is all I will say about that! When Halloween came I had to work and by the time I got off it was too late to dress up and go to a party so Nick and I sat at home and watched scary movies until I couldn't take it anymore!! Thanksgiving came and it was just Nick and I... Nick's family went to California for Thanksgiving and we could not go. Christmas was soo fun. It was Nicks and I second Christmas together. Nick woke me up at 3:00 am and we went in a open presents. Nick got a video game so I went back to bed and Nick stayed up the whole day (until it was time to go to the family's house) and played his game!! We were able to talk to Nick's brothers and that was exciting!! I miss them a ton! New Years was boring... I fell asleep before midnight even hit!! Oh man I am getting old..

Our trip to Georgia

In June we were able to go home to Georgia to see my family. I was really excited about this because I wanted to show Nick where i grew up. The last time we were there we were kinda busy getting married so this time was just to enjoy and relax. Michelle was able to come out too with her kids so it was a ton of fun. We would all go swimming in the pool with all the kids. Ashley was so scared of the water so she never really got in, except for one time.... Polly, Nick and I were outside watching the kids playing on the deck , Ashley wanted to feel the water so she kept getting closer and closer to the water, well she fell in.. Nick the superhero he is jump out of his seat and jump right into the pool to save her. When he did that he left the camera, a nike chip and his wallet in his pocket when he went in.. haha... We had a ton of fun with the family and was so sad that we had to leave.

A New House!!!!!

Nick and I was so sick of living in our little apartment. We both thought it would be so fun to own our very own house! Well we looked and looked and looked, and let me tell you that buying a house in Utah that is in a college student price range is very hard but we found it, and WE LOVE OUR NEW HOUSE!

San Fransisco

I have wanted to go to San Fransisco since I was a little girl watching Full House. Many years later Nick and I were able to go and see it!! Our cool friends Marissa and Devin went with us and we had a blast. To be honest once I got there and saw how dirty the city was and to see all the people that were there I was glad that I had went but I will probably not got there again!! Nick's aunt let us stay at her beach house about an hour away from San Fran so we were able to see the coast and explore everything!! Here are some pictures of our great adventure.
