1 year old!!

Well we made it...  Best and hardest year of our life!! We are so lucky to have such cute fun kids.  Well this is how the day went.  Nick woke up so excited that it was their birthday that he had to wake them up.  Well he leaves at 6:30 and they usually wake up at 7:30.  They woke up didn't have a clue of what was happening. Nick kissed them goodbye and I was stuck with grumpy babies until they took their early nap.  Our cute neighbor came over and game them an outfit and 1 dollar for each.  When Nick got home from work he gave them his presents. 

  Then we went down to Nick's parent's house because Nick's brothers also have the same birthday as the girls.  It was so much fun to celebrate with Trevor (Trent is in Arizona).  Here are some fun pictures of that great day!

I wish I had Twins....I

"I wish I had twins!"  That is the sentence I hear everyday I go out and see someone new in a store, at the park and etc.  I have to laugh because they have no idea what they would be getting themselves into.  I love my girls and I would never take back having twins but, twins are a lot harder then most people think.  For example,  when they were born they were so tiny and cried a lot.  It took me a good 3 weeks to get them both on a sleeping schedule.  One would wake up and the other would sleep, but by the time I got the one asleep the other would wake.  Next would have to be diapers.. Oh my goodness.  I've had to become a couponer just so I don't have to spend a ton of money on diapers.  They go through more clothes then a single baby.  It takes a lot longer to feed them then with just one.  I love my twins oh so much but sometimes I wanna say be grateful for the ONE baby you have right now!

Catching up!

So I have tried to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.  Things are slowing back down but a lot has happen in the last couple of months.  First, my Dad had a stroke.. update he is doing better and will be coming home in a few weeks.  Next, my brother-in-law and his girlfriend got married! Hooray for them and last, my girls are growing like weeds.  I am loving my life right now and having the time of my life being a wife, mother and daughter.  Here are some pictures to catch everyone up!

Craft project

I know most of you have heard of  Pinterest.  I love that site!!  I have made different things I have found on that site as well..  Here is one of them.  I have a lot of ear rings and I saw this idea and thought it would be amazing!!  I took an old picture and used the frame.  I used a staple gun and some clear screen.  For the bottom my hubby got it for me for Christmas to use as a craft project.  I just painted it.  Very easy project and now I can see all my jewelry. My Brother-in-law is getting Married!

Trent and his very cute fiance Taylor are getting married on May 11th!!   Here are some engagement photos that Nick took.  He is so good with a camera!

My babies are eating solids!!

Emma and Lily are growing so fast it make me sad, but I love to feed them solids!! I think I might be a little crazy..  Here are some fun pictures of them eating.

Valentine's Day

This year for Valentine's Day we decided to have a couples party.  We thought it would be even better if we dressed up in costumes!  Nick and I were a Hawaiian  couple.  We all had a great time and some great food!!  I feel like we should do this on a regular basic!! haha  Here are some Pictures.

I wanted to show you what Nick got me for Valentine's Day.  With him in school and us just having twins we really don't have the money to go all out on things.  I have to say this present is one of my favorite things he has ever given to me.  The words are from a Micheal Buble song that we love...  Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day.
