Nick's Marathon!!!

On October 4 2009 Nick ran a Marathon which is 26.2 miles. His dad and little brother also ran the race!! He finished in 4 hours and 30 mins!! Im soo proud of him!!

Its called Canonyeering!

Nick and I had a great chance to go canonyeering. It is alot of hiking, repelling, climbing, and trying to push yourself through canyons that you really dont fit in! Once your there it is the most beautiful thing you can ever think of. Here are some pictures of us and our friends playing around in the slot canyons!

About us

Nick and I were married on August 15 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee
Nick is in school rightnow working on his Graphic Design degree and I work at Walgreens pharmacy as a Tech and I love it. Nick is the oldest of 4 kids and they are all boys. His little brothers Trent and Trevor are going on a mission and will be leaving on November 18!! I am the second to youngest of 5 kids. My family lives in Georgia and i miss them every day! We live in a little apartment in Orem, Utah that is perfect for the both of us! We both love the outdoors and camping is one of our favorite things to do togethere! Nick is one of the funnest people i have met and very very smart. He always treats me so nice and im very lucky to have him!

What is your love story?

1. Where did you first meet your husband?Institute. My friend Jessica and I were walking down the hall and were walking very slow. We had just hit the gym that day and were very sore. Jess turned to me and said we have become one of those people. I was like who and she said the people who walk so slow that people have to walk around us. Well I said let them walk around us we are hurting and cant walk fast. Well as I was saying that Nick was walking right around us and turned to me and said im sorry i didnt mean to do that! Well me and Jess started to laugh and then he walked us to our car. He asked for my number and the cutiest thing was the fact that he passed his own car to walk us to our car!

2. What was the first thing you said to your husband? Im sorry

3. Where was your first date? He took me to dinner and a show in salt lake and then we stayed up all night talking! Best date ever!

4. Where was your first kiss? We were sitting on my couch and were talking and then he just leaned in and kissed me!

5. Did you have a long or short engagement/courtship? We dated for 4 months and were engaged for 2 months.

6. Where did you get engaged? He took me to a top of a mountain and had dinner for me and then when we were done he gor down on one knee and asked!

8. How did the reception go? It was perfect!! Thanks to all that helped!

9. How was the honeymoon?Best time ever!! We went to Gatlinburg and stayed for 4 days and we hiking and saw the sites!

Our Wedding!

The day of the wedding was very insteresting. My great friend Leah came to Georgia with us for the wedding so leah and I woke up at 5:30 to go get my hair done. While we were sitting in the car waiting for lisa to get there the car turned off and would not turn back on! So I called Nick and woke him up and told him the news about the car then I had to wake up my dad to come over and fix it before we have to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to the temple to get married! Thankfully Dad and Nick got the car fixed by the time that my hair was done! So me and leah raced over to my parents house to change and get ready to drive for 2&1/2 hours!! Kim (my sister) was soo great about getting the kids togethere so others could get ready fast! We got up to the temple and tried to get some pictures in before we went in to get married! Didnt get that many buts its ok...... It was the best day of my life and i get to spend the rest of my life with the coolest person ive ever met!!
